The invention relates to the technical field of building materials, and discloses a preparation method of a fireproof heat-insulation building honeycomb type material, which comprises the following steps: step 1, preparing fireproof raw materials: respectively storing mineral wool, aluminum silicate fiber, ceramic fiber, perlite and expanded graphite according to a proportion; 2, preparing a thermal insulation material: mixing a flame retardant and an expanding agent according to an equal proportion, and storing; 3, material mixing, wherein the heat insulation raw material is subjected to fiberization treatment and then mixed with the fireproof material; 4, preparing a mold: preparing a honeycomb-shaped hollow mold by adopting a metal or polymer material; the fibrous raw materials are put into a mold according to the proportion, heating and pressure treatment are carried out, and the fibrous raw materials are formed into a honeycomb type structure; and (6) hardening treatment: carrying out hardening treatment on the formed honeycomb type material to completely finish the preparation.
