The preparation method comprises the following steps: compounding alumina fibers with low-viscosity phosphate matrix liquid through a customization process to prepare an alumina fiber reinforced phosphate matrix composite biscuit; and carrying out drying and heat treatment on the biscuit to obtain the alumina fiber reinforced phosphate-based composite material. The phosphate-based composite material with excellent comprehensive properties such as uniformity, compactness, mechanical property, high temperature resistance and wave transmission can be prepared, the preparation cost is low, and the process is simple.
