The invention relates to a pier column permanent steel casing construction method which comprises the following steps: after excavation construction is carried out to a designed-level slope, drilling is carried out to form a pile hole with a designed depth; a pile casing construction platform is installed at a hole opening of the pile hole, then a steel pile casing with the designed length is lowered into the pile hole and connected with the pile casing construction platform, and meanwhile the designed height difference exists between the bottom of the steel pile casing and the inner bottom wall of the pile hole; and a gap between the outer wall of the steel casing and the wall of the pile hole is filled, and then operation of lowering a reinforcement cage and pouring concrete is conducted in sequence, so that the drilled pile is formed. The length and height of the bored pile are changed and adjusted through design, the bored pile can be constructed in advance when the slope is excavated to the top of the grade slope, the steel casing is additionally arranged and is lowered to the designed position to be fixed, and the steel casing and concrete poured in the later period form a permanent structure together, so that the earliest starting time of construction of the lower structure of the platform bridge is advanced, and the construction efficiency is improved. And the existing communication keeping problem is also solved.
