The invention discloses an intelligent cleaning mechanism and method for a new energy cleaning and sweeping vehicle, and relates to the technical field of cleaning and sweeping equipment. The swing frame is rotationally connected with the other end of the support arm through a first rotating shaft which is vertically arranged; one end of the swing arm is rotationally connected with the swing frame through a second rotating shaft which is horizontally arranged; the first driving device is used for driving the swing frame to rotate relative to the support arm; the second driving device is used for driving the swing arm to rotate relative to the swing frame; the mounting frame is hinged to the other end of the swing arm; the telescopic adjusting mechanism is used for adjusting the angle of the mounting frame relative to the swing arm; the driving motor is fixedly arranged on the mounting frame; the driving motor is used for driving the sweeping disc to rotate; the sweeping brush is fixedly connected with the sweeping disc; and the motor controller is in signal connection with the main controller. According to the method, the height of the sweeping brush is adjusted according to the real-time torque of the driving motor, the preset torque value and the safe torque value. The cleaning effect can be improved, and abrasion of the sweeping brush can be reduced.
