The invention discloses a low-defect high-precision ceramic ultrafiltration support and a preparation method thereof, and relates to the technical field of ceramic membranes, the ceramic ultrafiltration support comprises the following raw and auxiliary materials: 100 parts of alumina powder, 5-20 parts of kaolin, 5-10 parts of a sintering aid, 0.1-1 part of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, 1-10 parts of a pore forming agent, 0.1-1 part of sodium tripolyphosphate, 0.5-3 parts of sodium hexametaphosphate, and 100 parts of water. The particle size D50 of the alumina powder is 0.5-3 [mu] m, and the particle size distribution (D90-D10)/D50 is less than or equal to 3.0; the preparation method comprises the steps of material preparation, raw material wet ball milling, slurry grading, slip casting, drying, sintering, polishing and grinding, and cutting. According to the preparation method of the low-defect high-precision ceramic ultrafiltration supporting body, the slurry which is proper in particle size and narrow in distribution and is uniformly mixed with raw materials and auxiliary materials is finally obtained through slurry grading in a slip casting mode, and it is guaranteed that the pore size distribution of the finally obtained supporting body is narrow, and meanwhile the pore size is small and reaches the ultrafiltration level.
