The invention relates to a method for preparing silicon carbide/silicon nitride porous wave-absorbing ceramic from lignite, and belongs to the field of wave-absorbing ceramic. The invention aims to solve the problem that the silicon carbide/silicon nitride porous wave-absorbing ceramic cannot be prepared from lignite in the prior art. The preparation method comprises the following steps: 1, ball-milling and uniformly mixing lignite, a silicon source and a foaming agent, and performing compression molding; and 2, carbonization reaction and nitridation reaction. The method is used for preparing the silicon carbide/silicon nitride porous wave-absorbing ceramic from the lignite.
