The invention discloses a self-locking ball head connecting device which is arranged on a foundation plate and comprises two locking blocks, a lock pin assembly and a rotating shaft. Arc-shaped grooves are formed in the locking blocks, when the two locking blocks are in butt joint, the two arc-shaped grooves form a spherical notch groove, and the height of the spherical notch groove is larger than the radius of a sphere; when the two locking blocks are separated, the lower edges of the butt-joint end surfaces at the lower parts of the locking blocks are connected, and the upper edges of the butt-joint end surfaces are separated; the lower parts of the locking blocks are rotationally connected with the foundation plate through rotating shafts; during separation, the two locking blocks rotate outwards under the action of gravity so as to be in a separated state; the lock pin assembly is arranged on the foundation plate, when the two locking blocks are in a separated state, a pin shaft of the lock pin assembly is limited in the foundation plate, an external pile leg ball head is pressed at the inner bottoms of the two locking blocks, butt joint of the two locking blocks is achieved, the spherical notch groove and the pile leg ball head are clamped, and self-locking connection of the pile leg ball head and the foundation plate is completed by inserting the pin shaft into lock pin holes corresponding to the locking blocks. According to the invention, automatic locking of the pile leg and the foundation plate can be realized.
