The invention provides an ecological restoration method and system for preventing water and soil loss, and the method comprises the following steps: a) delimiting a to-be-restored region, building a cofferdam at the boundary of the to-be-restored region, and enabling the to-be-restored region to become a relatively closed region; b) arranging a flood dam at the upstream of the to-be-repaired area, and arranging a slag dam at the downstream of the to-be-repaired area; c) dividing the interior of the to-be-repaired area into a slope body area, a natural gully area and a flat area according to terrains; respectively repairing; and d) maintaining and monitoring after repairing. According to the ecological restoration method and system for preventing water and soil loss provided by the invention, the effect of relieving water and soil loss caused by rainfall can be quickly achieved through a physical blocking mode of arranging the cofferdam, the flood dam and the slag blocking dam; meanwhile, different repairing schemes are set according to different terrains of the to-be-repaired area, the purpose of accurate repairing is achieved, and meanwhile the repairing efficiency can be improved; and maintenance and monitoring after repairing are carried out in the later period of repairing, and the beneficial effect of stabilizing the repairing effect is achieved.
