The invention discloses a door closer capable of preventing collision during door opening. The door closer comprises a shell and a plunger. The shell is provided with an inner cavity; the plunger is arranged in the inner cavity and divides the inner cavity into a front cavity and a rear cavity, a reset spring is arranged in the rear cavity, an installation groove is formed in the middle of the plunger, a rotating shaft is installed in the installation groove in a matched mode, the end of the rotating shaft extends out of the shell, a first one-way valve leading to the front cavity from the installation groove is arranged on the front portion of the plunger, and the shell is provided with a first overflow channel communicated with the front cavity and the installation groove. A second one-way valve leading to the rear cavity from the mounting groove is arranged on the rear portion of the plunger, the shell is provided with a second overflow channel communicating with the rear cavity and the mounting groove, and the second overflow channel comprises a second inlet communicating with the rear cavity and a second outlet communicating with the mounting groove. Therefore, compared with a traditional door closer, the one-way valves and the overflow channels are arranged on the two sides of the plunger of the door closer, so that the door closer has a buffering function when a door is opened, and a door leaf is prevented from colliding with a wall.
