The tempered glass with the sound insulation function comprises a first tempered glass layer and a second tempered glass layer, a closed cavity is formed between the first tempered glass layer and the second tempered glass layer, and sound insulation materials are arranged on the surfaces of the first tempered glass layer and the second tempered glass layer. The sound insulation material is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 15 to 20 parts of silicon dioxide aerogel powder, 3 to 5 parts of indium-doped zinc oxide, 30 to 40 parts of silicone acrylic emulsion, 0.5 to 0.8 part of film forming material, 0.3 to 0.5 part of defoaming agent, 0.3 to 0.5 part of flatting agent and 3 to 5 parts of coupling agent. According to the tempered glass with the sound insulation function, through mutual cooperation of all the components, the formed sound insulation material can reduce transmission of sound waves, and the sound insulation effect of the tempered glass is enhanced.
