The invention relates to the technical field of building thermal insulation materials, in particular to internal and external wall thermal insulation gel inorganic powder which is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 25-35 parts of silicon dioxide aerogel, 16-35 parts of inorganic nano hollow microspheres, 5-10 parts of a high-performance flame retardant, 10-17 parts of a gel material and 1-3 parts of an auxiliary agent. A construction technology of thermal insulation gel inorganic powder for interior and exterior walls comprises the following steps that S1, preparation before construction is conducted, preliminary inspection treatment is conducted on a wall surface base layer before construction, storage of the inorganic powder is conducted according to requirements, and when the powder is used, a metering tool is adopted for mixing the powder strictly according to the construction proportion; the inorganic powder has the characteristics of being low in heat conductivity coefficient, high in bonding strength, good in heat preservation, heat insulation, water resistance, mildew resistance and the like, short in drying time, low in shrinkage rate, not prone to cracking after being dried and the like. The method is suitable for indoor and outdoor wall surfaces and roofs; the method is suitable for various base layers and special base layers such as cement mortar, concrete and gypsum boards.
