The invention discloses an urban rail transit intelligent track laying system and a track laying method thereof, and the system comprises a gantry crane control unit which comprises a first PLC controller used for controlling a gantry crane to move back and forth from a track skeleton stacking position to a transportation track, and a gantry crane monitoring module used for monitoring the operation position of the gantry crane in real time; the rail transport vehicle control unit comprises a second PLC used for controlling the rail transport vehicle to run along the transport rail, and a rail transport vehicle monitoring module used for monitoring the running position of the rail transport vehicle in real time; the track layer control unit comprises a third PLC used for controlling the track layer to run along the track layer running track and a track layer monitoring module used for monitoring the running position of the track layer in real time; and the master control system is used for acquiring the operation position of the gantry crane, the operation position of the rail transport vehicle and the operation position of the rail layer in real time. By arranging the rail layer system, the construction efficiency is improved, and the operation risk is reduced.
