The invention relates to a box culvert splayed wall and a construction method thereof. The box culvert splayed wall comprises a body, a first supporting assembly and a second supporting assembly. A first splayed wall is arranged at the first end of the body, a second splayed wall is arranged at the second end of the body, a first supporting assembly is arranged in the first splayed wall, the top end of the first supporting assembly is connected with the inner wall of the first splayed wall, the bottom end of the first supporting assembly is connected with the ground, and a second supporting assembly is arranged in the second splayed wall. The top end of the second supporting assembly is connected with the inner wall of the second splayed wall, and the bottom end of the second supporting assembly is connected with the ground. The construction method comprises the construction steps of calculating backfill soil pressure, designing the structure of the supporting assembly, constructing a foundation, constructing supporting columns or supporting stand columns, constructing a splayed wall and a supporting beam, laying a gravel layer and geotechnical cloth, and backfilling a culvert back. By arranging the first supporting assembly and the second supporting assembly, the supporting assemblies play a role in supporting the splayed wall, and the situation that the splayed wall is damaged due to culvert back backfilling is prevented.
