The invention provides a water taking device, an irrigation system and a control method. The water taking device comprises a water taking assembly, an adsorption station, a desorption station and a driving assembly. The water taking assembly is used for adsorbing water and releasing the adsorbed water under the desorption condition. When the water taking assembly is located at the adsorption station, water is adsorbed; when the water taking assembly is located at the desorption station, the adsorbed water is released and condensed; the driving assembly is connected with the water taking assembly and used for driving the water taking assembly to continuously and circularly rotate at the adsorption station and the desorption station. Due to the fact that the water taking assembly continuously and circularly rotates on the adsorption station and the desorption station, the water taking assembly can circulate between the moisture adsorption state and the moisture desorption state so as to continuously obtain liquid moisture, and then the water taking efficiency is improved.
