The invention relates to the field of mortar, and particularly discloses anti-crack plastering mortar and a preparation method, the mortar comprises the following raw materials by weight: 70-100 parts of cement, 5-9 parts of sodium alginate, 3-7 parts of latex powder, 100-155 parts of machine-made sand, 80-180 parts of gypsum, 10-25 parts of diatomite, 3-6 parts of fly ash, 1-3 parts of an auxiliary agent, and 15-35 parts of anti-crack fiber. The preparation method comprises the following steps: gypsum pretreatment: homogenizing sodium alginate and gypsum under the condition of ultrasonic coupling mechanical stirring; pretreatment of the machine-made sand: dissolving an auxiliary agent in water to form an auxiliary agent solution, and mixing and grinding the latex powder and the machine-made sand; mixing: uniformly mixing the cement, the pretreated gypsum, the machine-made sand, the diatomite, the fly ash and the anti-cracking fiber, adding a proper amount of water, and uniformly stirring. The anti-cracking plastering mortar has the advantages that the anti-cracking performance of the plastering mortar is improved, and the bonding strength of the plastering mortar and a concrete base layer is improved.
