The invention discloses a cover beam creeping formwork construction method which comprises the following steps that a cover beam construction creeping formwork device is installed at the bottom of a pier column, the cover beam construction creeping formwork device comprises at least two sets of creeping formwork mechanisms and a cover beam formwork, and each set of creeping formwork mechanisms comprises a first hoop, a second hoop and a jacking piece; the first hoop is arranged above the second hoop, and the telescopic jacking piece is connected between the first hoop and the second hoop; the bent cap template is detachably and fixedly connected to the upper surface of the first hoop; and the formwork climbing mechanism is started, and the first hoop and the second hoop hold the pier column tightly and ascend alternately till the bent cap formwork walks to the designed position. By the adoption of the method, the workload of aloft work in capping beam construction can be further reduced, and the aloft work risk is reduced.
