The invention discloses a rectangular concrete filled steel tubular column and U-shaped steel-concrete composite beam PBL stiffening connection joint which comprises a rectangular concrete filled steel tubular column and a U-shaped steel-concrete composite beam. The rectangular concrete filled steel tubular column comprises a rectangular steel tube, PBL stiffening ribs and column concrete, the PBL stiffening ribs are obliquely arranged in a node area and are aligned with a web of the U-shaped steel beam, and the column concrete is poured into the rectangular steel tube; the U-shaped steel-concrete composite beam comprises a U-shaped steel beam, beam reinforcing steel bars and beam concrete, the U-shaped steel beam comprises flange steel plates, web steel plates, studs and reinforcing side plates, the studs are located on the upper side of the upper flange steel plate, flanges and webs of the U-shaped steel beam are welded to the rectangular steel pipes, the reinforcing side plates are welded to the lower flanges of the steel beam and the steel pipes, and the reinforcing steel bars are welded to the steel pipes. The beam steel bars are fixed through the holes in the rectangular steel pipes, and the beam concrete is poured into the U-shaped steel beam. The joint has the advantages of being clear in joint force transmission, simple in structure, convenient to construct and attractive in appearance, occupying no space outside the column and having great engineering application value.
