A low-cost sound insulation suspended ceiling system comprises a suspended ceiling plate and a keel formed by connecting supporting parts used for supporting the suspended ceiling plate and a hanging part used for being connected with the top of a building, each supporting part comprises a supporting beam and a containing plate integrated with the supporting beam and perpendicular to the supporting beam, and the multiple supporting parts are staggered to form a suspended ceiling plate mounting window. A plurality of placing plates form a placing frame, the suspended ceiling plate can be placed on the placing frame, the suspended ceiling plate is a macromolecule foaming suspended ceiling plate, and a limiting structure for limiting vertical movement of the suspended ceiling plate is arranged between the suspended ceiling plate and the supporting part; compared with the prior art, the suspended ceiling system has the advantages that the suspended ceiling plate made of the polymer foaming material is lighter in weight and not prone to being broken, in addition, the limiting structure is arranged between the suspended ceiling plate and the supporting part, vertical limiting of the suspended ceiling plate is achieved under the condition that an existing keel structure is not changed, and the service life of the suspended ceiling system is prolonged. Therefore, it is guaranteed that the ceiling plate does not shake in the placing frame of the keel or is not separated from the placing frame.
