The invention provides a ground material suction mechanism and a self-propelled chassis, the ground material suction mechanism comprises a mounting bracket, a first rotating shaft and a material suction unit; the material suction unit comprises a fan, the fan is rotationally arranged on the mounting bracket through a first rotating shaft, and an air suction pipe opening of the fan can be in contact with the ground so as to suck materials on the ground; the mounting bracket can be driven by an external driving device to advance on the ground, and in the advancing process, the fan can adapt to fluctuation of the ground in the advancing direction to swing back and forth around the first rotating shaft. According to the ground material suction mechanism, the fan is rotationally arranged on the mounting bracket through the first rotating shaft, and in the advancing process, the fan can adapt to fluctuation of the ground in the advancing direction and swings back and forth around the first rotating shaft, so that an air suction pipe opening of the fan is conveniently kept in a fit state with the ground, and the material suction effect is guaranteed; and unclean material suction caused by uneven ground can be prevented.
