The invention discloses a river bank slope instability test system which comprises a river simulation device and a bank slope simulation device, the river simulation device comprises an upstream water tank and a downstream water tank, and a water tank is connected between the upstream water tank and the downstream water tank. A mounting notch is formed in the middle of one side of the water tank and connected with the bank slope simulation device, the bank slope simulation device comprises an inclined sliding groove, a camera mounting frame is arranged on one side of the sliding groove, and a camera is mounted on the camera mounting frame and right faces the sliding groove. The device has the advantages of being simple in structure, convenient to use and capable of testing damage modes of soil bank slopes with different gradients under simulated water flow condition scouring so as to better feed back and guarantee the bank slope safety of an actual river channel.
