The invention discloses a UHPC formwork-steel pipe concrete composite short column which comprises a steel bottom plate, a core steel pipe welded to the top of the steel bottom plate and core concrete poured in the core steel pipe, a reinforcement cage and a UHPC outer wrapping formwork are further arranged at the top of the steel bottom plate, and interlayer concrete is poured between the reinforcement cage and the UHPC outer wrapping formwork. Embedding holes are axially symmetrically formed in the top of the steel bottom plate, a vertical steel pipe is embedded in the steel bottom plate, a chemical adhesive is arranged in the vertical steel pipe, and a glass cover is fixedly connected to the top of the vertical steel pipe. When the steel reinforcement cage is installed, the outer-layer vertical steel reinforcement ring and the inner-layer vertical steel reinforcement ring in the steel reinforcement cage can be aligned with the embedding holes, the glass cover is crushed and enters the vertical steel pipes, and therefore chemical adhesives are distributed between the steel reinforcement cage and the vertical steel pipes and between the steel reinforcement cage and the embedding holes; and the dried chemical adhesive can stabilize the reinforcement cage outside the core steel pipe, so that the reinforcement cage does not need to be welded for multiple times to influence the outer side structure of the core steel pipe.
