The embodiment of the invention belongs to the technical field of aerosol generating devices, and relates to ceramic powder, a porous ceramic preparation method and an aerosol generating device, and the ceramic powder comprises the following components: a main material, a sintering aid and a pore forming agent; wherein the main materials comprise aluminum oxide and light magnesium carbonate. The main materials of the ceramic powder are aluminum oxide and light magnesium carbonate, so that the porous ceramic prepared from the ceramic powder disclosed by the embodiment of the invention is aluminum-magnesium spinel porous ceramic which has a firm structure and is low in sintering temperature, high in strength, uniform in pore size distribution, high in porosity, large in pore size and uniform in pores; and the slurry formed by mixing the ceramic powder is high in solid content.
