The invention discloses a water stop belt with bentonite modified by isocyanate and a silane coupling agent. The water stop belt is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 40%-60% of bentonite, 5%-10% of a modifier, 2%-8% of a dispersing agent, 3%-8% of a water repellent agent, 5%-10% of an enhancer and 10%-25% of an additive. The bentonite is modified by adopting isocyanate and a silane coupling agent, so that the expansion rate of the bentonite is increased; bentonite can be well dispersed in the system through the alkyl coupling agent; the polyallylamine solves the problem that the mechanical property of a bentonite-based water-stop strip product is reduced after excessive water absorption in the using process; the polymethyl methacrylate and the polyurethane resin improve the glass transition temperature of the product, enhance the cohesive strength and surface performance of the product and improve the mechanical strength of the product, and compared with a traditional water stop belt, the expansion rate, the dispersing performance, the water resistance, the mechanical performance, the durability and the glass transition temperature of the water stop belt are improved to a certain extent.
