The invention discloses a T-beam transverse moving method, and relates to the technical field of bridge engineering, the T-beam transverse moving method comprises the steps that a jacking assembly, a slide way assembly and a chain block assembly are arranged above a T-structure supporting system, the jacking assembly, the slide way assembly and the chain block assembly are all located below a T-beam, and a bridge girder erection machine is arranged on the bridge deck of a bridge; the T-beam is jacked to be separated from the T-structure supporting system through the jacking assembly, and the T-beam falls onto the sliding plate; and the sliding plate bearing the T-shaped beam is moved to the position below a hoisting mechanism of the bridge erecting machine along the slide way beam through the chain block device, and the T-shaped beam is hoisted to a designated position through the hoisting mechanism. After the T-beam is jacked to be separated from the T-structure supporting system through the jacking assembly, the T-beam falls on the sliding way assembly, the T-beam is transversely moved to the hoisting position along the sliding way beam through the chain block assembly, the T-beam is hoisted and conveyed to the designated position through the bridge erecting machine, operation is easy, stability and accuracy are high, and the construction time can be shortened.
