The invention relates to a cabinet (100) comprising a top surface (101), a front side (104) allowing access to an interior (103) of the cabinet (100), and a front panel (105) having a flat surface (105 ') larger than the top surface (101) of the cabinet (100). The front panel (105) is pivotable between a first configuration (A), in which the front panel (105) is a vertical panel (120) closing the front side (104), and a second configuration (C), in which the front panel (105) forms a horizontal deck (130). The invention also relates to a method for forming a work table from said cabinet (100).
