The invention provides a construction method of a pier foundation located on a landslide mass riverbed, which comprises the following steps: S1, filling soil on the surface of the riverbed to form an island building platform, paving a layer of waterproof geotechnical cloth on the upstream slope surface of the island building platform, and placing a plurality of rock ballast bags on the waterproof geotechnical cloth; s2, GPS positioning is adopted, guide holes are punched in sequence in a jumping mode through a rotary drill, and steel sheet piles are inserted into the guide holes; the guide holes are filled with graded broken stones containing clay, and grouting reinforcement is conducted on the lower portion of the steel sheet pile; s3, earthwork of the foundation pit is excavated, a supporting frame is installed in the foundation pit, and the bottom of the foundation pit is sealed through waterproof concrete; and S4, hole digging piles are installed at the bottom of the foundation pit, a foundation body is installed on the tops of the hole digging piles, and pier construction is conducted on the top of the foundation body.
