The invention provides a vertical assembly type exhaust passage which is formed by stacking and assembling a plurality of metal components with longitudinal openings and enclosing the metal components on the outer side of an air inlet of a building outer wall, the cross section of each longitudinal opening is in a U shape or an L shape or an arc shape, the side edge of each longitudinal opening is provided with a vertical folded edge, and the top edge and the bottom edge of each longitudinal opening are provided with horizontal folded edges. The vertical folded edges are fixedly attached to the outer wall face of a building, the upper metal component and the lower metal component which are adjacent are fixedly connected through the horizontal folded edges, the bottom of the vertical assembly type exhaust passage is sealed, and a structural hood for preventing wind, rain and snow from entering the vertical assembly type exhaust passage is arranged at an outlet in the top of the vertical assembly type exhaust passage. Compared with an existing metal exhaust passage, the metal exhaust passage has the advantages that the work efficiency is improved, the quality is improved, the wind load resistance is improved, the construction safety is improved, the sealing performance is improved, and the cost is reduced.
