The invention provides a bridge pier type automatic water quality monitoring station which comprises a bridge floor, a bridge arranged below the bridge floor, a bridge pier arranged below the bridge, monitoring station equipment arranged on the bridge pier, a shell arranged on the outer surface of the monitoring station equipment, a fixing ring arranged on the shell and a fixing rope sleeved on the fixing ring. The monitoring station equipment is internally provided with a monitoring equipment host, the monitoring equipment host is in circuit connection with a power grid wire, and the monitoring station equipment is provided with a main display and a bridge pier type water quality automatic monitoring station, and is a small automatic station suitable for rivers and water channel bridges. At present, no similar monitoring means exist at home and abroad. Conventional water stations involve high land acquisition and tedious procedures, pontoon stations are limited by flood and cannot be arranged near piers, and monitoring boats can only be temporarily used and cannot be used for long-term monitoring and research. The method can play a good role in fine treatment of local water area pollution, research of ecological biological groups and water quality monitoring in various emergency and disaster periods.
