A multi-axis door hinge system for a container, the system comprising: a door for enclosing a door frame of the container; a first hinge group including one or more hinges disposed along a first hinge axis and mounted to or proximate to an outer side of the door frame; the second hinge group comprises one or more hinges which are configured along a second hinge axis and are operably mounted on the inner side of the door so that the door can rotate around the second hinge axis; wherein the second hinge set is operably coupled with the first hinge set, so that the second hinge set can rotate around the first hinge axis, and therefore lateral movement and rotational movement of the door relative to the door frame are allowed.
