The closestool self-cleaning device comprises a base, a spray pipe movably arranged in the base in a matched mode and a motor, the motor is started through a self-cleaning program to drive the spray pipe to move from an initial position to a working position, an elastic limiting device moves from a guide groove to a one-way limiting position and does not abut against a limiting wall, and axial movement of the spray pipe is converted into circumferential movement. The spray pipe can continuously rotate at the working position; and the rotating direction can be output through the reverse motor to drive the spray pipe to move from the working position to the initial position, so that the elastic limiting device abuts against the limiting arm, and the spray pipe is changed from circumferential rotation to axial movement until the spray pipe reaches the initial position. Therefore, the reciprocating motion of the self-cleaning device between the initial position and the working position is axial movement, and the self-cleaning device only rotates in the circumferential direction at the working position, so that the problem that cleaning agents are sprayed unevenly and unstably due to the fact that the reciprocating motion is converted into the circumferential rotation is solved.
