The invention discloses an exhaust passage connecting device which comprises a connecting piece used for connecting an upper-layer exhaust passage and a lower-layer exhaust passage and a bracket used for fixing the connecting piece to a floor plate, and when the upper-layer exhaust passage and the lower-layer exhaust passage are installed on a floor, at least one outer side face is opposite to a wall body. The connecting piece comprises a bearing plate, an outer formwork and an inner formwork, and the outer formwork is only arranged on the outer side edge of the bearing plate corresponding to the outer side face, opposite to the wall body, of the lower end of the upper exhaust passage during installation. The inner side edge of the bearing plate extends downwards to form the inner formwork. The invention further discloses an exhaust passage connecting method using the connecting device. The upper-layer exhaust passage can be accurately positioned to the upper port of the lower-layer exhaust passage, the upper-layer exhaust passage is allowed to be mounted from the side surface, a gap not leaning against a wall can be blocked without blocking, the problems of air leakage and oil leakage at the joint of the exhaust passage can be effectively avoided, and exhaust resistance caused by the fact that a cementing agent enters the exhaust passage is favorably reduced.
