Method for preparing high-performance MgB2 block through biochar doping
The invention discloses a method for preparing a high-performance MgB2 block material through biochar doping. The preparation method comprises the following steps: firstly, weighing, mixing, grinding and tabletting magnesium powder, boron powder and biological carbon powder according to a certain stoichiometric ratio in a protective atmosphere to obtain a precursor block material; and after vacuum sealing, putting the precursor block into a heat treatment device for sintering, and after the temperature of the device is reduced to room temperature, taking out the block. According to the method, the MgB2 superconductor can be doped through the novel high-activity biological carbon source, the operation is simple, the cost is low, boron sites in MgB2 superconductor lattices can be effectively replaced, an effective pinning center is formed, impurity scattering is increased, and the superconducting performance of MgB2 is greatly improved. Meanwhile, the biological carbon powder contains trace rare earth elements, an additional pinning center can be formed in the MgB2 superconductor, and the current-carrying capacity and application potential of the MgB2 superconductor are further improved.
本发明公开了一种生物碳掺杂制备高性能MgB2块材的方法。本发明首先在保护氛围下,将镁粉,硼粉,生物碳粉按照一定的化学计量比进行称量、混合、研磨和压片,得到前驱体块材;真空密封后,将前驱体块材放入热处理装置中烧结,待装置温度降至室温后,取出块材即可。本发明方法能够通过新颖的高活性生物碳源对MgB2超导体进行掺杂,操作简单,成本低廉,能够对MgB2超导体晶格中的硼位进行有效的替代,形成有效的钉扎中心,增加杂质散射,极大的改善了MgB2的超导性能。同时,本发明的生物碳粉均含有微量稀土元素,能够在MgB2超导体内部形成额外的钉扎中心,进一步提升了MgB2超导体的载流能力和应用潜力。
