The invention discloses a seam filling assembly and method for prefabricated wall installation, the seam filling assembly for prefabricated wall installation comprises a strip-shaped air bag and a limiting piece, and the strip-shaped air bag is provided with an inflation port and an exhaust port; the strip-shaped air bag can be arranged in a grouting space between the bottom face of the prefabricated wall body and the top face of the floor slab, and when air in the strip-shaped air bag is sufficient, the two sides of the strip-shaped air bag are in sealing fit with the top face of the floor slab and the bottom face of the prefabricated wall body correspondingly. The limiting piece is connected with the strip-shaped air bag and used for being matched with the vertical face of the prefabricated wall so that the strip-shaped air bag can be limited to the outer edge of the grouting space. The strip-shaped air bags can be limited to the outer edge of a space formed by the bottom face of the prefabricated wall and the top face of a floor slab through cooperation of the limiting pieces and the vertical face of the prefabricated wall. After sufficient air is blown into the inflation inlet, the upper side and the lower side of the strip-shaped air bag tightly abut against the bottom face of the prefabricated wall and the top face of the floor correspondingly. Thus, during grouting, the strip-shaped air bag is used for blocking the poured mortar, and the mortar leakage phenomenon is avoided.
