Provided is a polyvinyl acetal resin composition which has high solubility in an organic solvent and which, when dissolved in an organic solvent, has little fine undissolved matter. Also provided is a polyvinyl acetal resin composition with which it is possible to produce a ceramic laminate that is not susceptible to oxygen deficiency due to undissolved substances and has excellent characteristics. Also provided are: a carrier composition for dispersing inorganic microparticles, which contains the polyvinyl acetal resin composition; an inorganic microparticle-dispersed slurry composition; and a laminated ceramic capacitor that is obtained using the inorganic microparticle-dispersed slurry composition. The present invention relates to a polyvinyl acetal resin composition containing a polyvinyl acetal resin and a cationic surfactant, the polyvinyl acetal resin having a primary particle diameter of 0.01 [mu] m to 10 [mu] m (inclusive), the primary particle diameter of the polyvinyl acetal resin being 0.01-10 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the polyvinyl acetal resin, and the content of the cationic surfactant being 0.1-10 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the polyvinyl acetal resin. And 1 * 10 <-6 > to 10,000 * 10 <-6 > parts by weight (inclusive) of a cationic surfactant.
