The invention discloses a liquid additive feeding device and method applied to an asphalt mixing plant. The feeding device comprises a storage assembly used for mixing and storing a liquid additive, a metering assembly capable of accurately controlling the liquid inlet amount of the liquid additive, a controller and a discharging assembly used for outputting the liquid additive. A heating assembly for heating the liquid additive, a stirrer for stirring the additive and a temperature measuring assembly for measuring the temperature of the liquid additive are mounted on the storage assembly; a feeding pipe for conveying additives is arranged on the storage assembly, an outlet of the storage assembly is connected with an inlet of the metering assembly, and an outlet of the metering assembly is connected with an inlet of the discharging assembly; the controller is electrically connected with the metering assembly, the heating assembly, the temperature measuring assembly and the discharging assembly. The heating assembly, the stirrer and the temperature measuring assembly are arranged on the storage assembly, so that the feeding device can meet the working conditions of bi-component and multi-component additives.
