The invention discloses a device for preventing sterilizer water from polluting municipal water, which comprises a water storage tank, a water suction pump and a floating ball valve, and a connecting pipe for connecting municipal water is arranged on the water storage tank; an inlet of the water pump is connected with the water storage tank, and an outlet of the water pump is connected with the sterilizer and used for pumping tap water in the water storage tank to supply water to the sterilizer; the floating ball valve is arranged in the water storage tank, and when the water level in the water storage tank is higher than a preset high water level, the floating ball valve controls the connecting pipe to be closed; when the water level in the water storage tank is lower than the preset high water level, the floating ball valve controls the connecting pipe to be opened; wherein the water level height of the preset high water level is lower than the pipe opening height of the connecting pipe, so that water in the water storage tank is prevented from flowing back into the municipal water from the pipe opening of the connecting pipe. According to the invention, on the basis that sufficient water sources are provided for the sterilizer, residual water in the sterilizer can be completely prevented from flowing back to municipal water to pollute a tap water system.
