The present disclosure generally relates to a clean drainage system. The clean drainage system includes a drain plug system, a seal, and a flange. The seal is coupled to the flange. A drain plug system is positioned through the seal. The drain plug system further includes a drain cover, a drain housing, and a basket. The drain cover is disposed along the vertical axis to allow or prevent water flow through the tailpipe. The basket includes a plurality of openings. The basket is configured to capture debris as the debris flows downward through the drain to prevent clogging of the drain. The clean drainage system further comprises an overflow cover, an overflow pipe and a lantern ring. A collar is positioned about the drain housing. The overflow cover is coupled to the overflow tube. A collar is coupled to the other end of the overflow pipe.
