The invention discloses a self-climbing construction system for elevator shaft construction engineering. The self-climbing construction system comprises an elevator machine room (2), a concrete pouring formwork subsystem (3) and a lower hanging construction platform (4). The hoistway (1) is provided with a tongue hole (11); the elevator machine room can climb upwards in the hoistway based on the tongue hole; the concrete pouring formwork subsystem is arranged above the elevator machine room, the lower hanging construction platform is arranged below the elevator machine room, the elevator machine room, the concrete pouring formwork subsystem and the lower hanging construction platform are installed and combined together, and the concrete pouring formwork subsystem and the lower hanging construction platform can climb upwards along with the elevator machine room. The concrete pouring template subsystem is used for constructing a concrete heightening structure of the hoistway; and the lower hanging construction platform is used for the construction operation of filling and sealing the tongue hole by an operator. By the adoption of the self-climbing construction system, the elevator shaft used for construction operation can be gradually constructed and heightened in the building construction process.
