The invention relates to a slot milling machine having at least one grinding wheel which is rotatably mounted on a support plate and has at least one adjustable cutting tool for crushing soil material, the adjustable cutting tool comprising a main body which is movably mounted on the grinding wheel, and the adjustable cutting tool is arranged on the supporting plate and interacts with the supporting plate, so that the adjustable cutting tool automatically moves between a folded position and an unfolded position according to the rotation angle of the grinding wheel during rotation. The adjustable cutting tool is movable from the unfolded position to the folded position via a first guide element contacting the support plate. According to the invention, the first guide element is integrally formed with the main body and protrudes from the main body in the direction of the support plate on the side facing the support plate. The invention also relates to an adjustable cutting tool for such a slot milling machine and to a support device having such a slot milling machine.
