The invention discloses a water replenishing method for a multi-stage waste gas spray tower. The multi-stage waste gas spray tower comprises a spray device and a plurality of liquid distribution devices located above the spray device. The spraying device and each liquid distribution device respectively comprise a storage tank, and the storage tanks are used for receiving liquid flowing down from the upper part; the water replenishing method comprises the steps that water is replenished into the storage pool of the uppermost liquid distribution device, the liquid level in the storage pool rises continuously and overflows, the overflowed liquid continuously flows from the storage pool of the upper liquid distribution device to the storage pool of the lower liquid distribution device, the storage pools of the lower liquid distribution device are sequentially filled with the overflowed liquid, and the overflowed liquid flows into the storage pool of the upper liquid distribution device and the storage pool of the lower liquid distribution device. And finally, the water flows to the storage tank in the lowermost spraying device, so that water replenishing is realized. According to the water replenishing method, water only needs to be replenished into the uppermost liquid distribution device during water replenishing, and then water continuously overflows downwards, so that the absorption effect can be further improved, and the energy consumption and the equipment failure rate can be effectively reduced.
