The invention discloses a vertically-connected Bailey connecting device and an assembling method.The vertically-connected Bailey connecting device comprises two clamping assemblies and a connecting assembly, each clamping assembly comprises a middle clamping head and an end clamping head, and the connecting assembly comprises a horizontal connecting rod and a vertical connecting rod; the middle clamping connector is arranged between the two end clamping connectors, the horizontal connecting rod is welded between the middle clamping connector and the end clamping connectors, the vertical connecting rod is welded between the two clamping assemblies, the horizontal connecting rod is perpendicular to the vertical connecting rod, a first limiting groove is formed in the side portion of the middle clamping connector, and a second limiting groove is formed in the side portion of the vertical connecting rod. And a second limiting groove is formed in the side part of the end part clamping head. The assembling method is used for assembling the vertically connected Bailey connecting device. By the adoption of the method, welding positioning can be achieved, welding is convenient, the machining cost and the product weight are reduced, construction is convenient, and design waste and material waste cannot be caused.
