The invention discloses high-solid-content aluminum oxide ceramic granulated powder and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method of the high-solid-content aluminum oxide ceramic granulated powder comprises the following steps: firstly, testing the water content of dry aluminum oxide powder; weighing the required raw materials for later use according to the proportion and the water content of the aluminum oxide dry powder; the solid content of the aluminum oxide dry powder is 65-80% by mass, and the balance is pure water; sequentially carrying out first-time ball milling and second-time ball milling, and sieving and separating grinding balls and slurry after the second-time ball milling; adding a proper amount of oxalic acid solution into the sieved slurry to adjust the pH value of the sieved slurry to 8.0-9.0; and finally, granulating by a spray dryer, and then sieving by a screen to obtain the aluminum oxide granulated powder with the particle size of 30-60 microns. The slurry disclosed by the invention has relatively high solid content and good flowability, and meanwhile, the aluminum oxide granulation powder has excellent flowability and apparent density, so that the performance of the granulation powder is ensured.
