The invention provides a silicon carbide particle trap and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) mixing a silicon carbide raw material, a pore forming agent, metal silicon powder and a high-temperature sintering aid to obtain a mixture; and (2) mixing the mixture, a binder and a dispersant, carrying out molding treatment, and then carrying out high-temperature sintering to obtain the silicon carbide particle trap, wherein the high-temperature sintering aid comprises any one or a combination of at least two of boron carbide, boron nitride or yttrium zirconium powder materials. According to the invention, the formula composition is optimized, and the selected high-temperature sintering aid can improve the phenomenon of vertical layering of the product caused by flowing during low-temperature sintering-assisted boride liquefaction on one hand and significantly improve the refractoriness and strength of the product on the other hand, can optimize the compressive strength, thermal conductivity and thermal expansion coefficient of the product on the other hand; therefore, when an automobile is started and shut down, the particulate filter can better bear high heat impact, and the comprehensive performance of the particulate filter is improved.
本发明提供一种碳化硅颗粒捕集器及其制备方法。所述制备方法包括以下步骤:(1)将碳化硅原料、造孔剂、金属硅粉和高温助烧剂混合,得到混合料;(2)将所述混合料、粘结剂和分散剂混合,成型处理后进行高温烧结,得到所述碳化硅颗粒捕集器;其中,所述高温助烧剂包括碳化硼、氮化硼或钇锆粉材料中的任意一种或至少两种的组合。本发明优化配方组成,选用的高温助烧剂一方面可以改善低温助烧硼化物液化时出现的流淌造成产品上下分层的现象,显著提高产品的耐火度和强度,另一方面可以优化产品的抗压强度、热导率以及热膨胀系数,使其在汽车启动和熄火时能更好地承受高热冲击,提升颗粒捕集器的综合性能。
