本发明提出了一种用于寒冷地区的土工格栅及其使用方法,属于土工格栅领域,主体上沿布设有若干窗口;若干肋条两两相交叉并设置在窗口内;主体采用弹性材料制成并能够弹性形变;两个肋条将窗口分隔为两个第一腔体及两个第二腔体,形状记忆形变件为V形并穿置在两个肋条围绕第一腔体的边缘内,形状记忆形变件的两端朝远离两个肋条交叉部位的方向延伸,形状记忆形变件受冷收缩形变并使其两端沿预设方向的间距缩小;形状记忆形变体在低温环境下收缩形变,带动腔体的宽度也收缩,从而在土工格栅上形成沿预设方向收缩的趋势力,使窗口的宽度缩小,减少土体从窗口中凸出并脱离岩土体的量,从而当回到日间较高温度时,避免削弱土工格栅对岩土体的加固效果。
