The invention provides an engine cover unlocking cable wiring structure which can prevent a locking mechanism from accidentally unlocking an engine cover even under excessive impact such as vehicle collision. A wiring structure for an unlocking cable (10) is provided with: a frame (8) that surrounds an engine compartment (5) of a vehicle body (2); an unlocking cable (10) that is routed along the frame (8) and that operates the lock mechanism (9) of the hood (3) by the operation of an operation lever (17) in the cabin; and a headlight unit (35) as a peripheral member attached to the frame (8) further to the outside of the vehicle than the frame (8), in which the frame (8) has a flange (31) at a position facing the headlight unit (35) and at which a portion of the unlocking cable (10) is arranged, the flange (31) having a shape that deforms to constrain the unlocking cable (10) when the headlight unit (35) collides.
