The invention relates to a method for polishing irregularity of a rail surface of a high-speed railway steel rail welded joint within a 3m range, and belongs to the field of railway line engineering, which comprises the following steps of: firstly, determining an abnormal vibration section where the impact force of a wheel rail of a high-speed railway is too large or the noise of the wheel rail is abnormal; collecting rail surface irregularity data of a high-speed railway steel rail welding joint within a range of 3m in the abnormal vibration section; meanwhile, steel rail profile data within the 3m range of a steel rail welding joint needs to be collected, and the rail surface state is recorded. Then statistical analysis is carried out on the collected rail surface irregularity data, and a corresponding small machine grinding scheme is designed for an over-limit steel rail welding joint; according to the designed polishing scheme, small-sized polishing mechanical equipment is adopted to polish the irregularity of the rail surface of the steel rail welding joint, and the consistency of the profile of the steel rail within the polishing range needs to be ensured. And finally, carrying out quality acceptance on the irregularity of the rail surface and the profile of the steel rail within a 3m range of a steel rail welding joint. Through the method provided by the invention, the problems of unsmooth low stepping caused by common over-polishing, abnormal light band after driving caused by poor profile of the steel rail and the like are completely eradicated.
