The invention discloses a cable-stayed bridge upper tower section structure and a processing method thereof.The upper tower section comprises side wall plates, corner wall plates and stiffening rib plates, and the side wall plates and the corner wall plates are sequentially and alternately connected to define a uniform-section rectangular column structure with a concave-angle section; the stiffening rib plates are arranged on the inner side faces of the side wall plates in the height direction of the upper tower section, and a plurality of stiffening rib plates are arranged on each side wall plate at equal intervals. A plurality of net-shaped through holes are evenly formed in one end or two ends of the side wall plates, the corner wall plates and the stiffening rib plates in the thickness direction. The steel cable tower section structure convenient to construct is designed and is produced by adopting a targeted process, and welding deformation is controlled and prevented by adopting the combination of constraint and self-constraint, rigid constraint and flexible constraint, pre-deformation and reserved proper welding adjustment shrinkage from the plate unit; the end face of the steel pylon is subjected to finish machining, and it is guaranteed that the segment end face machining precision meets the design requirement.
