The height-adjustable height limiting device comprises a first fixing pile, a second fixing pile of a symmetrical structure is arranged on the left side of the first fixing pile, the inner side of the top end of the first fixing pile and the inner side of the top end of the second fixing pile are welded through a cross beam, and inner cavities are formed in the first fixing pile and the second fixing pile; the inner cavity and the cross beam are of a communicating structure, and bottom frames are welded to the bottom ends of the first fixing pile and the second fixing pile correspondingly. The motor is controlled and drives the winding shaft to rotate to perform winding control on the connecting rope, so that the height limiting fence can be adjusted in size according to scale marks and can be adjusted according to the height limiting requirement of a vehicle, and the situation that the height of the height limiting fence cannot be adjusted, so that passing of the vehicle is affected is prevented; the stabilizing devices are arranged on the two sides of the height limiting fence, and when the height limiting fence ascends and descends, the height limiting fence can ascend and descend stably under the action of the connecting rods, so that the situation of collision during ascending and descending is avoided.
