The invention discloses basalt fiber sprayed concrete and a preparation method thereof. The invention relates to a cement-based composite material, which comprises the following raw materials by weight: 300-400 parts of Portland cement; 80 to 110 parts of fly ash; 800 to 1000 parts of sand; 700 to 900 parts of pisolite; 150 to 200 parts of water; 6 to 14 parts of a water reducing agent; 0.04 to 0.1 part of a defoaming agent; 0.4 to 1 part of a retarder; 8 to 15 parts of an accelerator; 2 to 3 parts of basalt fiber; and 20-30 parts of composite powder. According to the invention, the basalt fiber is added into the concrete, the basalt fiber has natural compatibility with the concrete and has excellent binding property with the concrete, so that the durability of the concrete can be obviously improved, and good crack-resisting, reinforcing and toughening effects can be achieved; the density of the basalt fiber is close to that of concrete, the basalt fiber is good in dispersity in the concrete, the problems of fiber floating and sedimentation cannot be caused in the spraying construction process, and pipe blocking is not likely to be caused.
