The invention provides a wall decoration plate supporting structure and a mounting method.The adjusting mechanism comprises a rotating shaft, a lower swing arm, an upper swing arm and a clamping ring, the rotating shaft rotates in a supporting frame, the upper swing arm and the lower swing arm swing at the upper end and the lower end of the rotating shaft correspondingly, and the clamping ring is located at the end, away from the rotating shaft, of the lower swing arm and located in a sliding groove of a lower top plate; the two sides of the clamping ring are attached to the interiors of the sliding grooves of the lower top plate in a sliding mode, the lower swing arm is connected with the lower top plate through the clamping ring, the clamping ring is in a semi-arc shape, and the angle of the semi-arc is 90-120 degrees, so that the supporting frame can be conveniently and rapidly mounted and dismounted on one side of the wallboard; the upper top plate and the lower top plate can conveniently slide at the upper end and the lower end of the supporting frame, the supporting frame can be rapidly disassembled by manually sliding the lower top plate, and the situation that an existing supporting structure needs to be installed through penetrating bolts, and the bolts need to be gradually disassembled in the disassembling process is avoided.
